From the critically acclaimed The Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender to the criminally underappreciated Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Studio Mir, the South Korean animation studio that worked on Nightmare of the Wolf, has worked on some of the best animated projects to arrive on the small screen in recent years. With Nightmare of the Wolf, the studio shifts from all-ages adventures to a more adult-oriented series while maintaining its flair for blending crisp lines and vibrant colors with a mastery of both action and emotion in the characters they bring to life. IMDB
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf’s voice cast has a great mix of recognized faces (if not names) and seasoned voice actors, with The Divergent Series franchise actor Theo James voicing Vesemir as an adult. Vesemir’s language is delivered with just the perfect amount of roguish charm and well-earned confidence by James, and the mixture of his line delivery and the character’s on-screen demeanor works well for the role.
